IF ONLY YOU CLICK
I'm such an
iyakin person. I easily cry because of shallow reasons. That's why they call me "yakisobra". One of the stimuli that makes me cry are those tear-producing movies (huh).
Just these last two Fridays, I was able to watch two very dramatic movies. First is IF ONLY.
If only is a story which is quite similar to "SANA MAULIT MULI" of ABS-CBN (bokbok-poknat. woohoo.) It was starred by Jennifer-Love Hewitt and I forgot. A guy had no time for her girlfriend. He had his career as his first priority. Until one day, they had a fight. The girl expressed her sentiments to the guy and the guy was shocked. The girl, disappointed, went to a cab. She waited for the guy to ride but he didn't. Unfortunately, the cab was hit and the girl died. The guy lamented for the girl. Until one day, he just woke up with his girlfriend alive again. He found out that he was given a chance to repeat the day before his girlfriend died. The instances that happened before the death of the girl took place again but in a different manner or sequence. The guy knowing what would happen in the end expressed his love to the girl. She spent the day with her girl like it was her last day (he knew it was). In the end, he rode in the cab with the girl. When the accident was about to happen, he hugged the girl and poof. Instead of the girl dying, it was the guy who died. He died protecting her girl.
The next Friday (last Friday) , I was in a really bad mood. I decided to watch CLICK of Adam Sandler. It is a story of a dad who wants to achieve his dreams. He wanted to buy a Unviersal Remote control that he could use for his television. But then, he was given a Universal Remote Control that controlled his universe for free. The remote allowed him to rewind, stop, pause, forward his life. He was able to skip the bad events, arguments, and everything he wanted to skip. Until the remote skipped every arguments, hardworks (and the likes) automatically. He didn't like this and realized that he was wrong in fast-forwarding his life. When he was given a chance to playback the events that he skipped, he realized that he was such a jerk. He was sorry for his self. His father died with him not being at his side, he and his wife got separated because of him being such a workaholic and hot headed, he got his new company, he became a fat man because he loved junks so much and he had a heart ailment. Until it came to the day of his death. His son is about to cancel the honeymoon and leave his dad because of work. But then, because of the experience of Micahel (Adam Sandler) He ran after his son taking off his life-support. He talked to his family and it was really emotional. He apologized to them and said he loved them very much. But then, it ended up that everything was just a dream (but it really did happen.)
These two movies are really two of the best I have viewed. If you haven't seen them, watch them. IF ONLY YOU CLICK, you'll realize how much important time is, how much important family is and how much important life is. IF ONLY YOU CLICK.
